Image features "Woven Reflection" and "Mobile I" an installation by Alyssa Pisciotto

Alyssa Pisciotto is a multi media artist based out of both Toronto and Windsor, Ontario, and she has exhibited in both cities. Alyssa’s work challenges the idea of “good” taste by playing with the “kitsch” quality of different materials and subject matter. Other prevalent themes throughout her work are memory and nostalgia, as well as challenging beauty standards. Alyssa’s practice primarily consists of painting, but also includes printmaking, bookbinding, paper making, and collage. Alyssa graduated with a BFA from OCAD University in 2016 with a major in drawing and painting and a minor in printmaking.
